Sgt Sam B. Schwartz attended college and was employed at the Los Angeles City College before he joined the Regular Army in Los Angeles, California on 10 December 1942.

1st Lt Harold D. Cupitt:
#1 and #2 engines were on fire then ship blew up before entering clouds.

T/Sgt Neal H. Modert:
I think he must have been injured when plane blew up.

The crew is remembered on a memorial stone in Ceminy, Czechoslavakia.
