Capt Howard C. Donlon attended Central High School and was a stock clerk before he joined the Air Corps of the U.S. Army Reserve in Minneapolis, Minnesota on 23 May 1942.2nd Lt Arthur W. Schwall:
Lt Donlon ship 43-38389 was hit flak in target area and was last seen losing altitude with one engine smoking.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Grand-Failly, France.
