Pfc Toke Kloe enlisted on 17 December 1943 and joined his unit from a replacement depot on 13 July 1944.

He was lightly wounded in action on 16 July 1944 for which he was awarded the Purple Heart Medal a first time.

He was promoted to Private First Class on 10 January 1945.

He was seriously wounded in action on 24 February 1945 and died the same day.
