More information

Pfc Cecil Standfield enlisted at Fort Sam, Texas 11 July 1941. He was assigned to the Coast Auxiliary and served 18 months in Puerto Rico. He returned to the States in November 1943 and was reassigned to the infantry. He was sent overseas in Septembe, 1944 and joined his unit from a replacement depot on 9 October 1944.
