1st Lt Harry F. Busby enlisted in Jamaica, New York on 4 March 1941. Both his parents were born in the United Kingdom.Lt Busby had a premonition just moments before the Waal Crossing took place that he wasn't going to survive the action, and threw his cigarette lighter away...
He was initially buried at Molenhoek cemetery near Nijmegen on 22 September 1944.
