Pfc Leon H. Brillon attended 1 year of high school and worked on the family farm before he enlisted.

He is remembered at the Saint Boniface Cemetery in Walhalla.

His brother Allicide was a Machinist’s Mate 3th Class on the Navy destroyer USS Hoel and went missing in action when the destroyer was sunk by the Japanese Naval Force near Samar on 25 October 1944. He is remembered at the Manila American Cemetery.
