Pfc Leon H. Brillon worked on the family farm.He is remembered at the Saint Boniface Cemetery in Walhalla.
His brother Alicide was a Machinist’s Mate 3th Class on the destroyer USS Hoel and was reported missing in action when the destroyer was sunk near Samar on 25 October 1944. He is remembered at Manila American Military Cemetery and Memorial.
