Pfc Scott F. Allison was an elevator operator in an office building at Walnut Reality Co.On 20 September 1944 he joined his unit from the 38th Replacement Battalion. On 26 September in the morning, H company attacked their objective, 1 mile south of Lyer, France, but hit stiff opposition and had to withdraw to reorganise.
He was reported Missing in Action on 26 September and died at the hospital of the POW camp Stalag IX-B which was situated in Bad Sodem-Salmunster.
