Pfc Duke H. Rodenhizer enlisted on 30 September 1943 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He joined his unit from a replacement depot on 22 July 1944. He was promoted to Private First Class on 24 July 1944 and was lightly wounded in action on 5 September 1944.
