T/4 Warren L. Hill graduated from Williamsport High School in 1935 and was employed at Stroehman's Bakery.He enlisted in 28 August 1941 at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland.
At 2.45 am an enemy airplane dropped several bombs. A direct hit on one of the houses, occupied by the Service Company, killed 8 men, all members of Battalion Maintenance Platoon.
T/4 Warren L. Hill was with his unit since its activation in Fort Lewis, Washington on 16 May 1942.
