Pvt Benjamin F. Wice was employed by the TVA before he entered the service in 1944. He went overseas in early 1945.He was wounded on 6 April 1945 and died of his wounds on 11 April. He died in a field hospital of sepsis or a blood clot. The exact location is not known.
