Pvt Daniel W. Harris was an employee of the Leonard Bro Department Store before he enlisted on 30 June 1942.

He was seriously wounded in action in the vicinity of Ringel, Luxembourg and evacuated to the 60th Field Hospital that was stationed in Bissen at that time.
