Pvt Chester Zajaczkowski became and American citizen in 1930 and was a production worker.He enlisted at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana on 28 March 1944.
He was reported seriously wounded in action and evacuated to a hospital on 25 November. At that time his unit was engaged in the fighting for Faulquemont, France.
