Pfc James F. Schwinabart enlisted in Baltimore, Maryland on 17 September 1943.

He was reported wounded in action on 26 September. At that moment F Company was holding defensive positions on the high ground in the vicinity of Morey, France.

He is also remembered at the Nethkin Hill Cemetery in Elk Garden, West Virginia.
