S/Sgt Roman Pasinski attended college and was a millwright before he joined the Air Corps of the U.S. Army Reserve in Hartford, Connecticut on 28 July 1942.

The plane was shot down by flak.

S/Sgt pasinski didn't leave the airplane and was intially buried at the cemetery of Coudekerque, France.

He was later buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Champigneul, France.

He is remembered on a plaque on the WWII Memorial at the East Haven Town Green, Connecticut.
