Pfc Albin A. Mohoney enlisted in Fort Thomas, Newport, Kentucky on 16 March 1943.He studied engineering in the army specialized training program (ASTP) at Muskingum college in New Concord, Ohio. He received 6 weeks infantry training at Fort Hood and then on to the front lines. Pvt Mahoney had been overseas since september 1944.
