Pfc Walter S. Glowacki enlisted at Fort Devens, Massachusetts, on 12 February 1942.He was a crew member of one of the three tanks that B Company lost that day. One was lost when it drove into an anti-tank ditch, one was hit by 88 mm fire, and one was destroyed by another type of anti-tank gun.
