Sgt Carl R. Wright joined the Regular Army on 21 October 1938. He attended high school for 3 years and was a foreman before he joined the army. He went overseas in August, 1942, and took part in the North African, Tunisian, Sicilian and Normandy campaigns. He also took part in the battle for Aachen. He died of wounds received in Germany.
