Pfc William K. Jackson graduated from Penn State College in 1928. He enlisted in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania on 15 April 1944.Pfc Jackson was killed in the first wave that crossed the Roer River at Düren, Germany, on the first day of Operation Grenade along with four other men of I Company.
