More information
John W. Warwick enlisted at Fort MacArthur, California. The family lost three of four sons.
John Warwick is buried next to Henry and Albert L. Warwick is buried at Luxemburg Cemetery. Only William survived the war.
Note: His gravestone and the ABMC database state that his regiment was part of the 82nd Airborne Division. However, this is a mistake. The 507th was only attached to the 82nd for the period from 14 June 1944, to 27 August 1944, but was never assigned to the Division and was therefore never an organic part of it.
