Pfc Carson Reider was a weaver before he enlisted in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on 18 January 1943.He died of wounds, sustained by artillery shell fragments in his skull.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Grand-Failly, France.
