Pfc Harold T. Williams attended Polytechnic High School, then joined the merchant marine, making a number of trips before deciding to become a paratrooper.He enlisted in Los Angeles, California on 3 March 1943.
He participated in the Anzio Beachhead campaign and in the D-Day landing of Normandy.
Hee was killed by shell fire.
His brother Joseph served in the Pacific where he was wounded in action.
