T/5 Charles W. Warren graduated from Modesto High School and worked on his farm.During a German arial attack on a mess hall in the area of the Julia Mine, seventeen servicemen and an employee of the mine were killed.
T/5 Warren is commemorated on a remembrance plaque in Eygelshoven, the Netherlands.
