Along with seventeen comrades and an employee, Pvt Partin was killed during an arial attack on a mess hall in the area of the Julia Mine.Pvt Lester S. Partin is remembered in Lyons, Georgia at the Toombs County War Memorial.
He is also commemorated on a Remembrance Plaque in Eygelshoven, The Netherlands.
