Sgt Ben F. Jolley was employed by a gas and electra company before he enlisted in Los Angeles, California on 12 November 1942.He joined his unit from a replacement depot on 6 July 1944, was promoted to Sergeant on 25 July 1944 and was lightly wounded in action on 8 August 1944.
