S/Sgt George Mayotte joined the Regular Army on 5 September 1936 and was honorably discharged in September 1939.He was employed at the GMC Truck and Coach Division until called to active duty with the military police in February 1941.
He later was transferred to the infantry and was sent overseas in 1944.
