Frank B. Morgan's father immigrated from Northern Ireland.He graduated from Greensburg High School in 1937. He was part of the Dramatic Club, Tennis Club, Golf Club, Rifle Club, and Football Team. According to the yearbook, he also enjoyed reading and dancing, and planned to go to college to become a business executive. He seems to have been an intelligent, athletic and ambitious young man.
He attended Saint vincent College where he studied lawa and worked for the Pennsylvania Rubber Company.
In early 1942 he applied to enter Aviation Cadet training for which he was accepted in February.
Lt Morgan died from non-battle causes. It is possible that his plane may have crashed in take-off or landing during a training flight.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Solers, France.
