Pfc Ben F. Tisinger graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas, Texas and was studying at North Texas State Teachers College.He joined the U.S. Army Reserve in Denton, Texas on 5 November 1942.
He gave his life in a vain attempt to save his buddy who was wounded under terrific artillery and machine gun fire.
