Pfc Rayford H. Causey was employed at a large aluminium manifacturing plant.He enlisted in Camp Shelby, Mississippi on 11 November 1942. He was sent overseas in September 1944.
He was killed by a gunshot wound in the chest.
He was initially buried in a temporary grave at Henri-Chapelle on 29 October 1944. After being disinterred and after the cemetery was given a permanent status, he was given his final resting place on 23 June 1948.
