Pvt Frank Panner attended high school for four years and was a compositor and typesetter at the department of Carnegie Library before he enlisted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 10 December 1943.He was reported wounded in action on 29 December 1944, caused by artillery shell fragments to his buttock and hip and stomach and died on 4 January 1945.
