Cpl Andrew G. Muensterman attended high school for three years and worked on a farm before he enlisted in Evansville, Indiana on 1 July 1942. He was sent overseas in May 1944.

He was reported wounded in action in November 1944 and spent ten weeks in a hospital in England before he returned to his unit. No longer then nine days later, Cpl Muensterman was killed in action.
