Pvt David R. Egly attended high school for two years and worked on the family farm.He enlisted in February 1943 and was sent overseas in September 1943.
He was reported missing in action on 21 February 1944 when his battalion was in the vicinity of Bleialf - PrĂ¼m, Germany. He was officially declared dead one year later.
