1st Lt Glenn E. Mueller was choral director of the Grace Lutheran Church and training to become a minister at the Lutheran Seminary of Fort Wayne, Indiana..He enlisted in Cleveland, Ohio on 14 February 1941.
His son was only ten months old when he was killed in action.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Limey, France.
