Pfc Charles G. Thrasher attended high school for one year and was a production worker before he enlisted in Baltimore, Maryland on 19 March 1943.
On 27 September, he was seriously wounded in action, 1 mile northeast of Morey during an enemy night attack. He was evacuated to a clearing station of the Division.
