Cpl Richard P. Barth attended West Technical High School and was employed at General Motors.He enlisted in Cleveland, Ohio on 24 April 1943.
He was killed by artillery shell fragments to the chest.
Cpl Barth was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
