Glen Lincoln enlisted on 20 January 1942 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was sent overseas in September 1944.He was last seen when he came back from a patrol when the lieutenant of 1st Platoon whom he was with, stepped on an anti-personnel mine. The lieutenant was wounded and evacuated but Pvt Lincoln was never seen again.
He was officialy declared death one year and one day after the incident.
His brother Robert also served in the Pacific.
