Pfc Raymond N. Randolph graduated from Armstrong High School, attended Saint Paul Polytechnic Institute for one year and worked for the Virginia State Library.He enlisted in Richmond, Virginia on 15 June 1943 and was sent overseas in December 1943.
According to his draft card his middle name is Melvin. His headstone incorrectly listed a N as his middle name.
