Pvt Marshall T. Fleming Jr. graduated from Northeast High School in January 1943 and worked for the American Store Co. in his hometown.He enlisted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 22 June 1943 and was sent overseas in December 1943.
He was injured in a truck accident and diagnozed with hematoma in a hospital on 25 March and remained hospitalized until he succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
He is remembered at the Mount Zion Cemetery Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware.
