More information

Lt Mc Farland enlisted on 10 September 1942 in Washington, DC.
The message was sent by his commanding offier through the War Department to Mrs. Burnett.

Lt. McFarland was in Europe for only one month as a member of the War Crimes Commission.

In a letter received from him, dated 24 October 1945, he told of having enough points for a discharge, and that he expected to leave for home 1 November. At that time there was no indication of ill health.
