Ralph Nathan joined the Air Corps of the Regular Army in New York City, New York, on 21 July 1941.The pilot of another aircraft last contacted this airplane on the radio near Bonn, Germany at 1220 hours. This was the last time anything was heard from him. The entire crew of five men was killed.
