O.K. Daniels graduated from Alva High School and worked on a farm.He enlisted at Camp Blanding, Florida on 1 November 1942.
A FW-190 collided head on between the #1 and #2 engine. The wing broke off and the airplane exploded.
One crew members was blown away and survived. Nine men were killed.
