A Company was ordered to construct a Bailey Bridge across the Sieg River at Wissen, Germany. The bridge site was heavily mined. T/5 George Otenbaker was killed by a mine which exploded when his bulldozer passed over it.In one photo left to right: Francis McDonnell (with hat), Lillian Otenbaker McDonnell, baby Marilyn McDonnell, George Otenbaker and his wife, Beatrice McHugh Otenbaker.
