Raymond E. Stone graduated from high school in 1941.S/Sgt Stone was awarded the Silver Star Medal posthumously as he traversed 300 yards of fire-swept terrain near Boslar to gain a precarious position where he forced the enemy to withdraw. He was killed during this action.
