Pvt Fred O. Covey graduated from Glendale High School in 1937.He enlisted in Los Angeles, California on 17 July 1944.
Pvt Covey, while standing guard at the C.P. was killed by shrapnel shortly after dark by a direct hit.
The picture was taken in high school in 1937.
