Pfc Samuel C. Weaver graduated from New Holland High School in 1943 and was employed at New Holland Machine Company.He enlisted in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania on 14 April 1944 and trained at Camp Croft, South Carolina and Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
Pfc Weaver is remembered at Saint Stephen United Church of Christ Cemetery in New Holland, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania with a memorial marker.
