Pvt Edwin Reiker was an electrician before he joined the Regular Army, Coast Artillery Corps in Chicago on 22 October 1940.In December 1944 the 634th AAA Battalion was attached to the 106th Infantry Division in the Losheim Gab on the Belgian-German border when they were overrun by the German Army.
