S/Sgt Guy L. Murfitt was a farmer before he enlisted in Indianapolis, Indiana on 6 July 1942. He was sent overseas on 1 July 1944.He was reported seriously wounded in action and evacuated to the 104th Evacuation Hospital that operated in Luxembourg City at that time.
