Roy Richmond completed three and one-half years at West Virginia University, Morgatown, W. Va. He was then sent to Fort Benning, Ga. where he was commissioned and went overseas in May of 1944. Enlisted in Fort Hayes Columbus, Ohio on 19 March 1943.
