Harold J. Ball attended high school for three years and was a foreman.He enlisted on 25 May 1942 at Fort Jay Governors Island in New York.
He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal postumously for distinguishing himself by meritorious service in connection with military operations against an eneny of the United States in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany, from 11 August to 31 March 1945.
