Pfc Billie W. Reece was employed by the J. H. Hill Co.He enlisted in Indianapolis, Indiana on 15 December 1942.
From October 1944 until January 1945 he was hospitalized in France for wounds at his shoulder caused by an artillery shell blast. In March 1945, in Germany, he was wounded in action by small arms fire in the abdomen. He died of his wounds on 21 April 1945. The exact location where he died is not known.
