Pfc James V. Prest attended Fosdick-Masten Park High School and was employed by the Houde engineering Division of the Houdaille-Hershey Corporation before he enlisted in Buffalo, New York on 27 August1943. He was sent overseas in February 1944.He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his colon.
